Title IX & Student Rights Matters

K & S routinely represents students, as well as faculty members, involving Title IX and student rights matters – whether as accusers, the accused or witnesses.

Representative Matters and Results

• A female college student who had been subjected to a non-consensual sexual encounter.  K & S represented her throughout an extensive Title IX investigation until the matter was favorably resolved.
• A university faculty member accused per Title IX of egregiously sexually harassing a participant at a school event. K & S prevailed after a contentious, two-day hearing and the complaint was dismissed.
• A university faculty member who was a witness in an internal investigation involving a number of Jewish students who had filed a complaint alleging a hostile anti-Semitic academic environment.
